Choosing an under-sink filter

Start with what you want the filter to do and the space beneath your sink. Check the selected model’s documented performance rather than assuming all under-sink systems filter the same substances.

  • Send a photo of the cabinet, cold-water connection and sink or benchtop, and measure the available space before choosing a system.
  • Confirm whether the model uses a separate drinking-water tap and whether an existing opening is suitable. Any new opening or unusual plumbing needs a scope check before booking.
  • Check the replacement cartridge references, ongoing cost and maintenance schedule for the exact model before buying.
  • If comparing with reverse osmosis, check the complete system’s space, drain and maintenance requirements as well as its purchase price.

Price and booking

For a system supplied by TapLife, the first installation fee is $200.00 including GST, plus the system price. Already own your under-sink system? The first BYO installation fee is $230.00 including GST.

Check your postcode on the product page and confirm compatibility before ordering. For made-to-order systems, ask us for the current lead time; installation is arranged once the system arrives.
