Questions about vanity installation
Can you assemble the vanity before fitting it?
Yes. Choose whether your vanity is already assembled or arrives in pieces. Any assembly charge appears with the option and is included in your configured total.
Will you take my old vanity away?
Choose the disposal option if you want us to take it away. You can also choose to have it left clear of the work area. Review the options and your updated total before booking.
Can you install a wall-hung vanity?
Yes, if the vanity being removed is wall-hung too. A wall-hung vanity needs timber, double brick or concrete behind the wall to hold its weight. Choose wall-hung or freestanding when you book, and text us a photo first if you are unsure about the wall or the position of the existing plumbing.
Do I need to supply the plug and waste?
If you have a pop-up plug and waste for the basin, we fit it at no extra charge. If you do not, choose the option for us to supply one and we bring and fit a standard chrome pop-up plug and waste. The extra amount appears with that option.
We fit the bathroom vanity you have already bought. You buy the unit wherever you like, we turn up with a licensed NSW plumber and install it properly — for one fixed price you can see before you order, with no call-out fee and no hourly rate.
Your choices, one fixed price
The base installation price, including GST, is shown in the Installation price breakdown on this page. Choose whether your new vanity is wall-hung or freestanding, whether it needs assembly, whether you have a plug and waste for the basin, and whether you want us to take the old one away. Freestanding and wall-hung vanities use the same installation rate.

- Is it wall-hung or freestanding? Both use the same installation rate. We can fit a wall-hung vanity only where the vanity being removed is wall-hung too, because it needs timber, double brick or concrete behind the wall to hold its weight.
- Is it already put together? If it arrives assembled and ready to fit, there is no assembly charge. If it comes as separate panels, doors and a benchtop, we put it together before installation for the additional amount shown on that option.
- Do you have a plug and waste? This is the pop-up plug and waste pipe that fits the basin plughole. If you do not have one, we supply and fit a standard chrome pop-up plug and waste for the additional amount shown on that option.
- Do you want the old one taken away? We can remove and responsibly dispose of it for the additional amount shown on that option, or leave it clear of the work area for you to arrange disposal.
Your total updates as you choose those two options, and every amount shown includes GST. One tap installation is included with each vanity.
What we need from you
- The vanity itself, on site before we arrive. If it is being delivered, please make sure it has landed.
- Access to the bathroom and the water shut-off.
- A photo of your current vanity and the pipework underneath, if you can. Reply to your order confirmation email with it and we will flag anything unusual before the day rather than on it.
Your tap goes in free
A vanity without a tap on it is not finished work, so we fit the tap at no charge. Bring the tap you have already bought, or buy one from us, and it goes on your new vanity as part of the same job. On its own that would be a separately priced installation, and even added to another job it would normally carry a fee — here it is included.
If you already have your tap, have it ready on site for us to fit. If you buy a tap from us, add it to the same order; you pay for the tap itself, with its installation included. One tap is included with each vanity. If you are fitting more than one, the extras are installed at the usual discounted rate.
What is not covered
The fixed price assumes your new vanity goes where the old one was, using the water and waste points already there. These are not included:
- Moving water or waste pipes to a new position
- Tiling, patching, painting or repairing the wall or floor behind the old unit
- Any electrical work, including lights, shaver points and heated mirrors
- Cutting or modifying a stone benchtop
- Supplying the vanity, basin or tap
If the plumber opens up your cabinet and finds something that could not be seen when you ordered — corroded pipework, a seized isolation valve, a waste in the wrong place — he explains what is needed and what it costs before doing anything further. Nothing extra is ever charged without your approval, and you are free to say no.
How long it takes
Most vanity installations take two to three hours. Add about an hour if it needs putting together first. You choose the day and an arrival window at checkout: 8am to 12pm, or 12pm to 5pm (not on Fridays).
Who does the work
Every installation is carried out by our own licensed NSW plumber, never a subcontracted handyman. We install across most of Sydney metro, every day except Fridays.
Why it has to be a licensed plumberNSW licensing rules
In New South Wales, plumbing work must be carried out by a licensed plumber. Every installation is performed under NSW plumbing licence 498555C.
Warranty: what’s coveredOur workmanship · the maker’s warranty · your ACL rights
Our 12-month workmanship warranty covers the installation: the connections we made and the way we fitted it. If something we did causes a leak or a fault, we come back and put it right at no charge.
The vanity you supply keeps its own manufacturer’s warranty. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply on top of both.
Your installation dayEvery day except Fridays · two arrival windows
Pick any available day at checkout, then a morning (8am–12pm) or afternoon (12pm–5pm) arrival window (not on Fridays).
There’s no extra charge for any day or window.
