A grab rail needs solid fixing points in the wall behind it. Adding timber backing inside the wall, tiling, patching and painting are outside the fixed installation price. If there is no solid fixing point where you want the rail, we explain the options and what they cost before doing anything further. Nothing extra is charged without your approval, and you are free to say no.

Does someone need to be home?

Yes, please. We need someone there to let the plumber in, show them the work area, agree the height and position of each rail, and look over the finished job before they leave.

Grab rail installation costs and inclusions

We install the grab rail you have already bought, fixed securely into the wall where you need the support. You see the fixed price before you order, with no call-out fee and no hourly rate, and each extra rail fitted on the same visit costs less.

Who does the work

Every installation is carried out by our own licensed NSW plumber, never a subcontracted handyman. We install across most of Sydney metro, seven days a week. You choose the day and an arrival window at checkout: 8am to 12pm, or 12pm to 5pm (Fridays: mornings only).

Why it has to be fixed properlySafe fixing

A grab rail has to take your full weight, so it must be fixed into solid timber, masonry or proper backing behind the wall, never into plasterboard or tile alone. Yours is fitted by our licensed plumber — Lic. 498555C.

Warranty: what’s coveredOur workmanship · the maker’s warranty · your ACL rights

Our 12-month workmanship warranty covers the installation: the fixings and the way we fitted it. If our workmanship causes a fault, we come back and put it right at no charge.

The grab rail you supply keeps its own manufacturer’s warranty. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply on top of both.
