Fitting More Than One Shower

Renovating both bathrooms, or replacing the ensuite at the same time? Set the quantity to the number of showers you need fitted. Every additional shower installed during the same visit is charged at a reduced rate, because the plumber is already on site. The exact figures update live in the Installation only price breakdown on this page as you change the quantity.

Why Use a Licensed Plumber for a Shower Swap

Changing a shower looks simple until the wall connection is involved. A poorly sealed outlet lets water track into the wall cavity, where it can rot studs and ruin tiling long before you notice it, and a DIY connection that later leaks can give your insurer grounds to reject the claim. Every TapLife installation is carried out by a licensed, insured NSW plumber (Licence 498555C), so the job is done to standard and documented on your tax invoice.

Good to Know Before You Book

  • This service covers replacing a shower on an existing outlet. If your plumber finds corroded pipework, a seized isolation valve or a wall that needs a new outlet, they will explain the situation and the cost before doing any additional work — nothing extra is ever charged without your approval.
  • Moving the shower outlet to a new position, or re-tiling, is a separate job. Call or text us on 0452 197 452 and we will tell you honestly what is involved.

How It Works

  1. Add this service to your cart and set the quantity to the number of showers you need fitted.
  2. At checkout, choose the day that suits you and an arrival window — 8am to 12pm, or 12pm to 5pm (Fridays: mornings only).
  3. Your licensed plumber arrives with everything needed, fits your shower, pressure tests it, cleans up and is gone.

Why it has to be a licensed plumberNSW licensing rules

In NSW, shower installation is plumbing work that must be done by a licensed plumber — and a DIY connection that later leaks can give your insurer grounds to refuse a claim. Yours is done by ours — Lic. 498555C.

Warranty: what’s coveredOur workmanship · the maker’s warranty · your ACL rights

Our 12-month workmanship warranty covers the installation: the connections we made and the way we fitted it. If something we did causes a leak or a fault, we come back and put it right at no charge.

The shower you supply keeps its own manufacturer’s warranty. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply on top of both.
