- The water connection the system requires, arranged to suit the installation

- Flushing and commissioning, then pressure and leak testing before we leave
- Taking the packaging away, and a 12-month workmanship warranty
Before you book
Installation is carried out by our licensed plumber to suit the confirmed system and site. Before ordering, send us the model and a photo of where it is going if new tap holes, stone benchtop drilling, altered water or waste connections, or restricted space may be involved — we will confirm suitability and exactly what the published installation price covers before you book.
We check the system’s suitability and its required water, drainage and backflow provisions before installation, following the applicable plumbing requirements and the manufacturer’s instructions.
Under-sink, reverse osmosis or whole-home?
Under-sink cartridge filter
Sits in the cabinet and feeds a dedicated tap, treating drinking and cooking water only. Installation is $200 with a system from us, plus the system, or $230 for your own system. Under-sink installation cost guide.
Reverse osmosis
Also feeds a dedicated tap, but uses a membrane stage and needs a drain connection. Allow space for the system, any tank and cartridge changes. Compare RO systems and live installed totals.
Whole-home filtration
Goes in at the mains and filters the water supplied to the outlets connected downstream of the system — the larger job, and the one to consider when you want more than the kitchen treated. Installation is $480, plus the system. Compare under-sink and whole-house filtration.
Not sure which you need? Which is right depends on the model’s documented performance and what you are trying to treat. Call or text 0452 197 452 and describe your setup.
Installing a tap or shower at the same time? See tap and shower installation pricing — booked together, the extra item drops to the add-on rate.
Whole-home filter installation at the mains
A whole-home system is fitted to the incoming water main. Standard installation includes:
- Checking the water meter, incoming pressure and a position with room to service the cartridges.
- Isolating the supply, mounting the housing, then connecting the inlet and outlet in the correct flow direction.
- Fitting isolation valves and a bypass so the filter can be taken offline for servicing.
- Purging air, pressure testing the connections and checking flow at taps before cleaning up.
Send the system model and a photo of the proposed position before booking, especially if access is restricted or existing pipework may need changing. We confirm suitability and what the published price covers before you book. See whole-home installation details.
How booking works. Two paths, depending on what you book.
An available system, or a Bring Your Own installation
Choose your installation day from the dates offered at checkout. We install under-sink systems seven days a week (Fridays: mornings only) and whole-home systems every day except Fridays, across most of the Sydney metro area.
A made-to-order system
You order it first. Once it arrives and your order is ready, we send you a booking link to choose your installation day. Ask us for the current lead time before you buy if timing matters.

How much does it cost to install an under-sink water filter in Sydney?
A flat $200 including GST for a system you buy from us, or $230 if you already have the system and want it fitted. Either price is the same anywhere in our Sydney service area, for a confirmed system and a standard installation that covers fitting the filter tap your system supplies, the drainage the model requires, commissioning and leak testing. There is no call-out fee and no hourly rate.
What does a whole-house water filter installation cost?
Whole-home filtration is $480 including GST. It is installed at the mains and filters the water supplied to the outlets connected downstream of the system, which is a larger job than an under-sink unit — mains isolation, mounting the housing and reinstating the line.
Does whole-home filter installation include a bypass?
Yes. We fit isolation valves either side plus a bypass arrangement, so cartridges can be changed or the filter taken offline without cutting water to the house. Check whole-home installation details before booking.
Can you install a filter I bought myself?
Yes. Our Bring Your Own Under-Sink Filter service is installation only, $230 for a system you already have. It is $30 more than a system we supply for one reason: we have not seen the unit, so the plumber arrives prepared for whatever brackets, tap thread or drain fitting it turns out to need. Send us the model before you order and we will confirm it is suitable.
Can a filter be installed at the same time as a tap?
Yes, and it is cheaper that way. The highest install rate pays its normal price and additional items in the same visit drop to an add-on rate — a second filter is $149 and an extra tap is $50, rather than paying two separate installation fees.
The system I want says made to order. Can I still book?
Yes. Most filtration systems are ordered in rather than held on a shelf — a whole-home unit is not something anyone keeps in a van. You order it, we bring it in, and the installation day is booked once it arrives. Ask us for current lead times before you order if timing matters.
Who does the work?
A licensed NSW plumber — licence 498555C. Connecting a filter to the drinking water supply is plumbing work, and in NSW it has to be done by a licensed plumber. Every installation carries our 12-month workmanship warranty.
