A licensed gasfitter fits a gas cooktop, and the service also covers suitable electric or induction units that plug into an existing outlet. Hardwired units need an electrician for the final connection; if the old unit is hardwired, arrange its electrical disconnection before our visit. Check the existing connections, cut-out and the new model’s requirements before booking.
If you only need an old gas cooktop disconnected, capped and leak-tested, choose the separate gas cap-off service. You supply the new cooktop for installation. The two cost guides below explain each service’s scope and exclusions.
