What if the wall needs extra work? A grab rail needs solid fixing points in the wall behind it. Adding timber backing inside the wall, tiling, patching and painting are outside the fixed installation price. If there is no solid fixing point where you want the rail, we explain the options and what they cost before doing anything further. Nothing extra is charged without your approval, and you are free to say no.

Grab rails can be installed horizontally, vertically or diagonally and can be installed to meet compliance with AS 1428.1. Grab rails can be installed in showers, next to toilets and basins, or other locations where extra support is desired. This range is fixed to the wall with screws and features cover plates to conceal the flanges for a neater appearance. Manufactured from grade 304 stainless steel, this range can support up to 250 kg. Finishes include polished stainless steel, knurled stainless steel, matte black, white, gunmetal, gold and rose gold.

Why it has to be fixed properlySafe fixing

A grab rail has to take your weight the moment you need it, so it must be fixed into solid timber, masonry or proper backing behind the wall, not into plasterboard or tile alone. If there is no solid fixing point where you want the rail, we explain the options and agree any additional work and its price before starting. Our licensed NSW plumber carries out the installation (Lic. 498555C). If we supplied your product, come to us about any fault: sorting out whether it is the product or our installation is our job.

Warranty: what’s coveredFaults come to us · our workmanship · the maker’s warranty · your ACL rights

You bought the product and the installation from us, so we are who you come to — for either. Sorting out where a fault sits is our job, not yours.

Come to us. Email [email protected] with your order number and a photo, and we take it from there — you do not have to find a warranty card or deal with the manufacturer yourself. If our installation caused it, the 12-month workmanship warranty covers it and we come back and put it right at no charge. If the part itself has failed, we handle the claim and liaise with the manufacturer where that is needed. Either way, the repair, replacement or refund the Australian Consumer Law requires is ours to provide as the supplier, and those rights do not end when a manufacturer warranty does.
