The Caroma Black Lead Free Luna Basin Mixer is a basin mixer we supply and install across most of Sydney metro. Supplied and installed by a licensed Sydney plumber, so there is no second trade to organise.

The Luna basin mixer in black – the slim-bodied basin tap of the Caroma range, sized for a basin rather than a kitchen sink.

The slimness is deliberate and comes from the 25mm ceramic disc cartridge, a smaller unit than the 35mm type, which lets the body stay narrow at the base where a bulkier mixer looks heavy on a basin.

Lead-free brass certified under 0.25% lead to the Lead Free Watermark scheme, leak tested individually, with a silicone aerator that wipes clean instead of blocking with scale.

Why it has to be a licensed plumberNSW licensing rules

In New South Wales, replacing a tap means disconnecting and reconnecting it to the water supply, which is licensed plumbing work. Genuine minor maintenance, such as replacing a tap washer or a screw-on aerator, is different. Our licensed NSW plumber carries out the installation (Lic. 498555C). If we supplied your product, come to us about any fault: sorting out whether it is the product or our installation is our job. Our workmanship warranty covers our installation, the product keeps its manufacturer’s warranty, and your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply on top.

You bought the product and the installation from us, so we are who you come to — for either. Sorting out where a fault sits is our job, not yours.

Come to us. Email [email protected] with your order number and a photo, and we take it from there — you do not have to find a warranty card or deal with the manufacturer yourself. If our installation caused it, the 12-month workmanship warranty covers it and we come back and put it right at no charge. If the part itself has failed, we handle the claim and liaise with the manufacturer where that is needed. Either way, the repair, replacement or refund the Australian Consumer Law requires is ours to provide as the supplier, and those rights do not end when a manufacturer warranty does.
