Tap Life (“we”, “us”, or “our”) supplies and installs kitchen taps, bathroom taps, water filtration systems, and provides qualified plumbing services in Sydney and surrounding areas.
1. Definitions
- Products: Kitchen taps, bathroom taps, water filtration systems, and related accessories we supply.
- Services: Supply and professional installation of the Products by qualified plumbers, including any associated plumbing work.
- You / Your: The customer placing an order or using our website.
2. Orders and Quotations
- All quotations provided by Tap Life are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
- A contract is formed only when we accept your order in writing (including by email or order confirmation).
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.
- Prices displayed are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise indicated.
- We may change prices at any time without notice, but changes will not affect orders already accepted.
3. Payment
- Full payment or a deposit (as specified) is required before we commence work or dispatch products.
- We accept payment via bank transfer, credit card, or other methods clearly stated at the time of checkout.
- Title in the Products remains with us until full payment is received.
- If you fail to make payment when due, we may suspend or cancel the supply of Products and Services.
4. Delivery and Installation
- We will endeavour to deliver and install Products within the timeframe quoted, but all dates are estimates only and we are not liable for reasonable delays.
- Installation Services are only available within Sydney and designated surrounding suburbs. We reserve the right to refuse installation outside our service area.
- You must provide clear and safe access to the installation site on the agreed date and time.
- Any additional work required due to unforeseen site conditions (e.g., non-standard plumbing, structural issues, or asbestos) may incur extra charges. We will advise you before proceeding.
- You are responsible for obtaining any necessary council approvals or permits if required.
5. Risk and Ownership
- Risk in the Products passes to you upon delivery to your premises.
- Ownership of the Products passes to you only after we receive full payment.
6. Consumer Guarantees and Warranties
- Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
- In addition to your statutory rights, we provide manufacturer warranties on Products where applicable. Details of any extended warranties will be provided with your order.
- We warrant that our installation Services will be performed with due care and skill by qualified plumbers.
7. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations
- Due to the custom nature of many installations, we do not offer refunds for change of mind once Products have been supplied or installation has commenced.
- If a Product is faulty or not as described, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery. We will assess the issue and, where valid under the Australian Consumer Law, arrange repair, replacement, or refund.
- Cancellations before installation may incur a cancellation fee to cover costs already incurred (e.g., sourcing of products or scheduling).
- Installation-related issues must be reported to us as soon as possible so we can rectify them.
8. Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the price paid for the specific Products and/or Services in question.
- We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss (including loss of profit, data, or opportunity).
- We are not responsible for any damage caused by products or installations where you have provided incorrect measurements, specifications, or failed to provide safe access.
9. Site Access and Safety
- You must ensure the installation area is safe, clean, and free from hazards before our plumber arrives.
- Our plumbers reserve the right to refuse to perform work if they consider the site unsafe or if required access is not provided.
10. Intellectual Property
- All content on our website, including images, text, and logos, is owned by or licensed to Tap Life and may not be used without our written permission.
11. Privacy
- Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
12. Changes to These Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on our website with the new “Last updated” date. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

- These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
- Any disputes arising from these Terms or your dealings with Tap Life will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
